Larry A. Davis
Managing Partner

Larry Davis is Managing Partner of Aronson Capital Partners, one of the leading investment banks focusing on the federal sector. He has over 20 years of M&A and corporate finance experience and has completed over 30 M&A transactions with aggregate deal value in excess of $1.0 billion.

Larry was formerly Vice President, Finance for DynCorp Applied Sciences Group, a $250 million business unit built through a series of 14 strategic acquisitions.   Prior to this, Larry was CFO of Program Resources, Inc., a $100 million professional services firm with 1,200 employees. As a result of his unique industry experience, he serves as a strategic advisor to middle-market companies assisting them in developing strategies to enhance shareholder value.   He is also Managing Member of Aronson Capital Advisors, a registered Broker-Dealer with the FINRA.  Larry earned his BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland and is a licensed CPA.

John Saunders
Managing Partner

John Saunders is the Managing Partner of Aronson Capital Partners. He has a wealth of corporate finance and transactional experience in government contracting and commercial technology. As Vice President, Corporate Finance at DynCorp, John led a strategic acquisition program resulting in the completion of 15 M&A transactions, which formed the company’s $1.2 billion information technology services business. John has also completed numerous private and public financings including the $100 million investment grade securitization of DynCorp’s government accounts receivables and the $350 million leveraged buy-out of the company by management and a private equity group in 1987. In 1999, he managed the sale of DynAir Services, Inc., a $300 million ground handling services business to Swiss Air Group for $160 million. Prior to joining ACP, John was responsible for the successful turnaround of Visual Networks, a $75 million network performance management solutions provider. As Chief Financial Officer, John developed an operational and financial plan which returned the company to profitability in 2002, and raised $10.5 million of convertible debt which significantly strengthened the company’s financial position. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and an MBA from The George Washington University.

Philip McMann
Managing Director

Philip McMann is a Managing Director of Aronson Capital Partners, where he leads the execution of buy and sell-side investment banking engagements of middle-market government technology and professional services companies. Since joining ACP, Philip has completed over 15 M&A transactions. He has advised or sold clients to some of the leading strategic buyers and private equity firms in the defense and government services industry, including CACI, EDO, General Dynamics, SAIC, Stanley Associates and Veritas Capital. During these engagements, he has also worked with some of the leading institutional lenders in this industry including American Capital and CapitalSource. Prior to joining ACP, Philip held senior finance positions with a Goldman Sachs sponsored private equity fund and a NYSE-listed mortgage REIT. Philip earned his B.S. from Tulane University and his M.B.A. from Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management. He is a Principal (with 24, 7, 63 licenses) of Aronson Capital Advisors, a registered broker-dealer with the FINRA and an affiliate of ACP.

David Brinkley
Managing Director

David Brinkley is a Managing Director of Aronson Capital Partners, where he manages ACP's buy and sell-side investment banking engagements. In addition, David performs advisory services including due diligence, valuation, and strategic assessments for middle market firms in the government and national security sectors. Prior to joining ACP, David founded and managed DFI Investment Partners, LLC, an M&A advisory firm providing due diligence and valuation services to financial investors in the government sector. David holds a B.S. from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and an MBA in finance from Columbia University.

Mark Kockler
Vice President

Mark Kockler is a Vice President of Aronson Capital Partners, where he is responsible for originating and executing buy- and sell-side transactions of middle market Federal IT services companies. Prior to joining ACP, in the capacity of internal M&A advisor, Mark represented Meridian KSI, a provider of e-learning solutions primarily to federal, state, and local clients, to Visionary Integration Professionals, Inc. in a transaction that closed in October 2006. Prior to that engagement, Mark worked in a regional investment bank where he focused on niche providers of point solutions to the public sector, working on the buy-side in CM Equity's acquisition of a geographic information services business and on the sell-side in BAE Systems' acquisition of provider of signals intelligence solutions to the intelligence community. Mark also spent 4 years covering technology companies at Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown and Raymond James Financial, where he worked on public offerings that raised over $1.0 billion in equity and debt capital and on M&A transactions valued at over $1.3 billion. Mark earned an MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden Graduate School of Business Administration and a BA from Harvard. He is a licensed registered representative (Series 7 and 63).
